Our History
Founded in 2002 by Bosse Schön, Thomas Magnusson, and Stefan Sauk, Storyside began its journey as a pioneering independent audiobook publisher in Sweden before being acquired by Storytel Group in 2013.
We have remained at the forefront of the digital audio revolution, actively shaping both the format and the way it reaches global audiences. A landmark moment in this evolution occurred in 2005, when Storyside became one of the first publishers to partner with Storytel, cementing our role as an industry innovator. Over the years, our commitment to growth has transformed Storyside into a truly global entity. Since releasing our first non-Swedish title in 2017, we have scaled our operations to meet the demands of an increasingly international market.
